Terms & Conditions of Hire

• 1. The hire charge shall be shown on the booking form/invoice
• 2. All items remain the property of Buckingham Balloons Ltd.
• 3. The management of Buckingham Balloons Ltd reserves the right to refuse to hire any item to any member of the public at any time for what ever reason.
• 4. All items hired will require a security deposit, and payable at the commencement of hire by the way of credit/debit card details, also proof of ID is required by the way of Drivers licence or utility bill with current address.
• 5. All items hired shall be the responsibility of the hirer during the period of hire until there return to Buckingham Balloons Ltd.
• 6. All items shall be returned in the state in which they were hired. Any loss, damage, or other faults caused while on hire shall be paid for by the hirer at the rate determined by the staff of Buckingham Balloons Ltd
• 7. No alterations of any kind to the costumes hired is allowed by the customer, no pins or labels of any kind are to be attached to the costumes by the customer.
• 8. All items hired are to be returned by 5:30pm on the date shown on the booking form unless otherwise agreed. Failure to return hired items on the due date and time shall incur further charges at a rate of 50% of the hire charge per day or part-of, plus any loss hires.
• 9. Should any loss occur during the hire period then it’s the responsibility of the hirer to inform Buckingham Balloons Ltd. Failure to give notification could result in extended hire charges at the agreed rate in addition to replacement charges.
• 10. Late return, replacement, heavily soiled, damaged repair cost will be charged to the credit/debit card details given,
• 11. Full hire charge is payable at the time of booking and is not refundable.
• 12. Buckingham Balloons Ltd will not accept responsibility or refund any payment for any specially made or ordered costumes which does not fit due to incorrect measurements given or found to be unsuitable for any reason.
• 13. No liability for unsuitability, consequential loss, damage or injury claim shall rest with Buckingham Balloons Ltd.
• 14. A fee will be levied for exchanging a costume that has been reserved. The charge for this will 50% of the original hire charge.
• 15. The hirer is not to wash the item hire. The cost of standard cleaning is included in the hire cost.
• 16. The refund of the security deposit will be at the time of return unless the item is heavily soiled or marked in such away it may not come out in normal cleaning, in which case the credit/debit card details will be retained until after cleaning. If extra cleaning is required this will be charged at £10 per wash or the dry-cleaning charge.
